Application Process
2028-2029 Academic Year Application Timeline:
- Application Submission: May 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026
- Application Review and Shortlisting: Completed by the end of September 2026
- Interviews:Completed by the end of November 2026
(Only applicants selected for an interview will be notified) - Acceptance and Rejection Letters:Sent by the end of December 2026
On occasion, applicants may be considered for fellowship positions outside of the academic year, depending on program availability.
At this time, the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program is not accepting applications. Please check back for updates regarding the current and future application cycles.
Eligibility
Fellowship candidates must have completed an accredited radiology training program and be either certified or eligible for certification by one of the following:
- The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Diagnostic Imaging
- The American Board of Radiology
- Equivalent certification from another country
Department of Medical Imaging Specific Requirements:
Letter of Intent
Applicants must include the name(s) of the requested fellowship program(s) within their Personal Statement and clearly indicate their first choice, second choice and third choice.
Applicants interested in the Vascular and Interventional Imaging Fellowship may apply only to that program.
For all other programs, applicants may apply to a maximum of three fellowship programs.
Reference Letters
Radiology Fellowship Programs:
Applicants are required to submit:
- Three (3) reference letters
- Including one (1) letter from the Program Director
Nuclear Imaging Fellowship:
Applicants are required to submit:
- Two (2) reference letters
Reference letters may be addressed to the Fellowship Selection Committee.
Once the application form is completed, referees will automatically receive an email request to submit their reference letters.
After submission, both the applicant and the referee will receive a confirmation email.
Please note:
An application will not be considered complete until all required reference letters have been received by the program. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all reference letters are submitted on time.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
