Members of the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Division are responsible for the application and interpretation of all imaging examinations and procedures as they relate to the investigation of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, and soft tissues.
- Overseeing and interpreting all imaging examinations encompassing the range of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including articular, degenerative, metabolic, hematopoietic, infectious, traumatic, vascular, congenital, and neoplastic diseases in both inpatients and outpatients across various imaging modalities including radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance
- Performing interventional procedures related to the musculoskeletal system including therapeutic injections and image-guided percutaneous biopsy/aspiration techniques under fluoroscopic, sonographic and CT guidance
- Participating in scheduled conferences including departmental grand rounds, interdisciplinary conferences, peer-review case conferences and/or morbidity and mortality conferences
- Participating in the supervision and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows
Signature MSK programs by site include:
- Fowler-Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinics
St. Joseph’s Health Care
- Roth-McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre

The Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship is a one-year post-residency training program which aims to provide comprehensive exposure to a broad range of musculoskeletal imaging modalities and procedures. Fellows will develop skills that will enable them to handle complex musculoskeletal cases and transition to a consultant role in both academic and community practice settings.
