Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day

Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day was held June 4, 2015 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. With 110 participants and 46 oral/poster presentations, the day was a success! Participants came from Universities across Ontario, LHINs, Family Health Teams, and Associations related to primary health care. There was a large student contingent in many disciplines related to primary health care including: family medicine, nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, psychology and epidemiology. This is an important part of building future research capacity in the field of primary health care.

Western University was well represented at the conference with 15 participants from psychology, epidemiology, family medicine, nursing and occupational therapy, five providing oral/poster presentations and two providing keynote presentations as part of the Family Health Team Evaluation Panel and Realist Synthesis workshop. As well, members of the Thames Valley Family Health Team were in attendance.

We hope to see you at the 2016 Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day!
