Funding: SSHRC Partnership Development Grant enables researchers to investigate integrated model for effective youth sport concussion management

Thanks to a recent three-year SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, Alison Doherty, PhD, (Kinesiology) and a 14-member interdisciplinary team, including Western scholars Dr. Lisa Fischer (Family Medicine), Dr. Shannon Sibbald (Family Medicine, Health Studies, Schulich Interfaculty Program in Public Health), and Dr. Brendan Riggin, Post-Doctoral Fellow (Kinesiology) will be investigating "An integrated model for effective youth sport concussion management."

The $199,970 grant is enhanced with $85,595 in-kind funding from the community partners.
