Award: Dr. Kamila Premji to receive the 2019 Canadian Family Physician Best Original Research Article Award

Current PhD student Dr. Kamila Premji and her team have been selected to receive the 2019 Canadian Family Physician Best Original Research Article Award. This is a program of the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine, through the generosity of its donors and Canadian Family Physician.

This award recognizes a scientific article published in 2018 in Canadian Family Physician based on a research project the authors developed, financed, and completed. Dr. Premji's article “Patients’ perceptions of access to primary care. Analysis of the QUALICOPC Patient Experiences Survey. Canadian Family Physician March 2018, 64 (3) 212-220;” was selected as the best research paper published in CFP in 2018.

As the recipient of the CFP Best Original Research Article Award, Dr. Premji has been invited to deliver a presentation on Wednesday, October 30, as part of Family Medicine Forum (FMF) 2019.
