Award: Dr. Amrita Roy named CFPC Research Award for Family Medicine Residents recipient

Congratulations Dr. Amrita Roy on being named a recipient of The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) Research Award for Family Medicine Residents for her project, “The responses of Canadian medical education bodies and institutions to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Calls to Action: A scoping review and thematic analysis of documents.” This is a program of the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine, through the generosity of its donors.

The Research Award for Family Medicine Residents recognizes excellent research that a family medicine resident or a team of residents has carried out and completed. 

Dr. Roy has been asked to present the results of her research project at Family Medicine Forum (FMF) in Vancouver, October 30-November 2, and has a won a prize of up to $1000 to offset the costs of travel and other expenses related to attending FMF.
