Family Medicine Grand Rounds - MAiD Update
Join us on Wednesday, October 6, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for Family Medicine Grand Rounds to be held via ZOOM meeting. Dr. George Kim of the BFMC with co-presenters Sue Miller and Julie Campbell, MAiD navigators, will present an update on MAiD.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to:
- Identify the March 2021 changes to the medical assistance in dying legislation;
- Discuss how and when to refer a patient requesting MAID; and
- Discuss reasons why individuals see MAID as an option.
