Grand Rounds: Patient Education and Family Medicine: Tell.explain.demonstrate.inspire

Join us Wednesday, June 6, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. for Family Medicine Grand Rounds in the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine Building, Room 1150.

Dr. Daniel Pepe, PGY3 in Academic Family Medicine, will present "Patient Education and Family Medicine: Tell.explain.demonstrate.inspire."

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how patient education can enhance the practice of patient-centered family medicine;
  2. Demonstrate the importance of patient education in undergraduate and post-graduate medical education; and 
  3. Develop an approach to providing patient education in your practice.

When live-streaming it is important to start promptly at 8:30 and conclude at 9:30 a.m.  Please ensure you arrive and are seated before 8:30 a.m. to avoid disruption once the session begins.

Attendance is taken at Grand Rounds. If you do not attend in person, please e-mail Sheena Blasing after the session if you wish to qualify for MAINPRO credits.

Sheena will send the MAINPRO certificates out at the end of the year.
