Rober Abdo Completes his PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine would like to offer congratulations to Rober Abdo, who recently completed his PhD in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. Qi Zhang and Dr. Shun-Cheng (Shawn) Li were Rober’s PhD supervisors. The thesis title is "Spatial and single-cell transcriptomics reveal distinct modes of tumor-brain crosstalk and molecular drivers of brain metastasis."
Rober is now continuing his research at Western University as a postdoctoral fellow, focusing on the molecular and spatial biology of glioblastoma and brain metastases and the development of potential therapeutic strategies.
