Congratulations Dr. Ruchika Gupta on her acceptance to the ENRICH Program

Congratulations Dr. Ruchika Gupta on her acceptance to the ENRICH (Empowering Next-Generation Researchers in Perinatal and Child Health) program through the PILLAR Pathway (Programs and Institutions Looking to Launch Academic Researchers) in partnership with the Pediatric Outcome Improvement through Coordination of Research Networks (POPCORN) initiative. This national program supports early career researchers through mentorship, training opportunities, resources, and participation in the annual ENRICH conference.

Dr. Gupta serves as the Microbiology Lead for the IMPACT (Immunization Monitoring Program ACTive) network at London Health Sciences Centre, supporting national surveillance of vaccine-preventable diseases and emerging pediatric infections. She is also a key investigator in the PORCORN initiative, contributing expertise in laboratory diagnostics, infectious diseases, and data-driven approaches to improve outcomes for children and families. Through these collaborative national programs, her work directly informs public health policy, strengthens surveillance systems, and advances evidence-based care for pediatric and perinatal populations.

Dr. Gupta’s research focuses on improving diagnostic approaches for infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance through innovative applications of artificial intelligence, advanced microbiology diagnostics, and translational research.
