Dr. Carol Hindmarsh Summer Studentship Award
Criteria
Awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student in any year the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry who is confirmed to be participating in a summer student project working with under-served and vulnerable patient populations in Canada or abroad, as part of an existing student group participating in outreach work, or as an independent project. Preference will be given to a student registered either in year 1 or 2. Interested students are asked to submit an online application to the Undergraduate Medical Education Office by March 1st. The recipient will be selected by a committee from the Internationalization Office from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry with the approval of the Progression & Awards Committee. This award was established by a generous donation from the Hindmarsh Family.
