Along the journey of illness and healing

Tina Zhou spent her high school years navigating life on her own in Canada. Her mother’s cancer diagnosis meant she travelled back and forth to China to receive care and family support. “It was like we were fighting a war and we had our roles on different battlegrounds,” said the fourth-year medical student.
