Dr. Taryn Taylor awarded the 2015 Royal College Robert Maudsley Fellowship for Studies in Medical Education

On December 12, 2014, Dr. Lorelei Lingard, Director for the Centre for Education Research & Innovation announced, "On behalf of the Centre for Education Research and Innovation and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Taryn Taylor has been awardedthe highly competitive 2015 Royal College Robert Maudsley Fellowship for Studies in Medical Education.

Dr. Taylor is a PGY4 Resident in Obstetrics & Gynaecology who is also a Clinical Investigator Program trainee. She is in the second year of a PhD in Health Professions Education through Maastricht University, the Netherlands under the supervision of Dr. Lorelei Lingard. Dr. Taylor`s doctoral program of research addresses the timely question of what motivates residents' decisions around managing fatigue both inside and out of the workplace learning environment.

Dr. Taylor was selected for this prestigious award based on the quality of her scholarly work and its contribution to medical education.
