Notification of change of format for the Psychiatry certification examination.

Please be advised that the format of the Royal College's Psychiatry certification examination has been changed effective spring 2014.

The written component will now consist of one three-hour multiple choice question (MCQ) paper; the SAQ paper has been removed. The content of the examination is still based on the Objectives of Training and details of the (revised) format can be found at the following link: http://rcpsc.medical.org/residency/certification/examformats/165_e.php

Note that candidates (ruled eligible) will be receiving their notice of registration for the examination between mid-November and January 2014.
