Postgraduate Report
The Family Medicine Postgraduate Program would like to sincerely thank the following faculty members for their dedication to the Postgraduate Program:
Dr. Munsif Bhimani for his leadership in the Enhanced Skills Program as Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Program.
Dr. Paige Hacking for her leadership in the Enhanced Skills Program as Program Director for the Obstetrics and Women’s Health Program.
Dr. Firas Al-Dhaher for his many years of leadership and mentorship at the Petrolia teaching site.
We would also like to welcome the following faculty members to their new roles commencing in the 2025-26 academic year:

Dr. Nisha Arora as the Obstetrics and Women’s Health Enhanced Skills Program Director (London).
Following the completion of the second iteration CaRMS match, we are pleased to report that our program has filled all our residency positions.
June has been a busy month for our residents. On June 11th we held Resident Project Day at the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine where the PGY2 and PGY3 residents presented on their research or quality improvement projects on a wide range of topics: Resident Project Day Abstracts.
On June 20th we congratulated and celebrated our graduating residents at a Graduation Celebration at The Great Hall. It was a wonderful evening filled with much excitement amongst residents, family, friends and faculty. We wish our residents the very best as they venture out into practice or into additional enhanced skills training programs in July. It has been a pleasure training you over the past couple of years!

Important News and Upcoming Dates:
- We are transitioning from One45 to Elentra effective July 1st. We strongly suggest that faculty and residents download ITERs, PRFs and evaluation summaries as they will not be available to you in One45 past September 2025.
- Residents have been sent an email containing Elentra user guide and resident modules for basic orientation to the system.
- Resident Orientation: July 2, 2025 – In-person for Urban/Regional residents, Rural residents welcome to attend in person, but hybrid option is available (email link has been distributed via email)
We have completed our Spring / Summer PG Site visit tour. These meetings are used to provide feedback on your training site, to discuss on-going evaluation issues and for the sites to discuss any issues of importance to them locally.
