The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics has one named departmental scholarship available to undergraduate students in our program.

Dr. M. Karen Campbell Undergraduate Award

Full-time undergraduate students in the Honors Specialization program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics who have acheived a minimum average grade of 85% in the three core courses, Epidemiology 3200 (Epidemiology II), Epidemiology 3210 (Analytic Epidemiology), and Biostatostics 3110 (Multivariable Methods), may be eligible for this award.

There is no application for this award. Potential recipients will be selected by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Scholarship Committee.

About M. Karen Campbell, PhD

The Dr. M. Karen Campbell Undergraduate Award was created to honour a Professor, former Graduate Chair and former Department Chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Dr. M. Karen Campbell. During her tenure as Department Chair, Dr. Campbell was responsible for envisioning, developing and championing the undergraduate program which enrolled its first two students in 2014. Dr. Campbell is currently the Special Advisor to the Provost on Faculty Employment Equity.
