Kathryn Ellett

Kathryn started her career in Quality Improvement in healthcare in 2010. She has been with London Health Sciences Centre’s (LHSC) Quality Patient Safety and Performance team since 2019, and was with LHSC’s National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) team 2017-2018. Kathryn supports evidence-based decision making and quality improvement. Kathryn currently serves on the Ontario Health Report Development Committee for The General Medicine Quality Improvement Network - Health Quality Ontario (HQO) (hqontario.ca) and the Ontario Health Advisory Panel for the Delirium Aware Safer Healthcare (hqontario.ca). For six years Kathryn served in the US Department of Health and Human Services where she worked with the Centres for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Quality Improvement Organizations (or ‘QIOs’). Kathryn’s first job in healthcare was at SE Health, in the home and community care sector. In addition to QI, Kathryn also loves all things horses, long-distance running, and her kids.
