Resident Cake and Tea Celebration and Dr. M.E. Kirk Teaching Award 2025

Congratulations to Dr. Lindsay Ninivirta who was the recipient of PaLM Annual Resident Award of Excellence. This award recognizes a resident who has excelled in their role as a resident-member of the pathology team.
Congratulations to Dr. Lindsay Ninivirta on completing the Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology Residency Training Program; and Dr. Shervin Pejhan for completing the Neuropathology Residency Training Program.

Dr. Lindsay Ninivirta will be completing a one-year Clinical Fellowship at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto.
Dr. Shervin Pejhan will be completing a one-year Research Fellowship with Drs. Qi Zhang (Neuropathology) and Elizabeth Finger (Clinical Neurological Sciences) at Western University.
Congratulations to Dr. Michael Shkrum who is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Dr. M.E. Kirk Teaching Award. This annual teaching award is in recognition of excellence in resident education. The recipient exemplifies the following qualities with respect to resident education: dedication, enthusiasm, excellence, availability, approachability, knowledge and mentorship. This award is in recognition of the quality of the contribution of the individual.
