Across Canada, National Medical Laboratory Week was celebrated from April 13-19. Medical laboratories play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients and Medical Laboratory Professionals are experts and key figures in every patient’s journey. Whether it’s running urgent tests, ensuring patient safety, or collaborating with other health-care professionals, their skill and professionalism help guide the next steps in patient care, often in moments of great uncertainty.
