Congratulations to Dr. Ziad Solh, recipient of a Blood Efficiency Accelerator Award from Canadian Blood Services. Dr. Solh’s study aims to compare the survival and cancer cure outcomes for patients with cervical cancer when hemoglobin is held at two different levels prior to radiation therapy.

The project will compare different hemoglobin practices at London Health Sciences Centre and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and is part of a knowledge translation study building on a recent systematic review performed by Dr. Solh and his colleagues.
