Launch of Neuromuscular Disease Panel Testing
Exciting news for the Division of Molecular Diagnostics!
Effective September 8, 2025, London Health Sciences Centre’s (LHSC) Division of Molecular Diagnostics will be offering a new neuromuscular disease testing panel in accordance with provincial testing recommendations. This testing will replace the current Charcot-Marie-Tooth panel in addition to expanding the list of tests for genes associated with additional neuromuscular disorders.
LHSC is the only centre in Ontario offering the Neuromuscular NGS panel, which is a genetic test for over 400 genes related to Muscle Disease and Neuropathies.
