Curriculum Subcommittee

PGE-Subcommittee-curriculm.jpg

This committee meets monthly to discuss curriculum innovation and ensure residents are exposed to all the objectives of training mandated by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The core pediatric curriculum is designed by members of this committee and runs over a 3-year time period. This curriculum is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure effectiveness and provide opportunity for enhancements. Evaluations of residency rotations by pediatric residents are reviewed in a timely fashion, and feedback is promptly delivered to faculty rotation-leads, including any suggestions for amelioration. The Curriculum Committee Chair reports committee activities to the RPC committee, which is the committee that ratifies recommendations from the curriculum subcommittee.
