“Incredible”

“Mind-boggling”

“Keeps me on the edge of my seat”

But enough about our program directors, let’s talk about our program.
On behalf of all our residents, we would like to welcome you to the Paediatrics program at Western University!

Our group is home to 40 residents from around the country – and around the globe – who have come together to create our incredible team. Working out of the Children’s Hospital in London, Ontario, we are training to become skilled paediatricians – both in general and subspecialty practice. With our tight-knit group of residents, we’ve grown together as a family and always have each others’ backs. And with our diverse range of subspecialty services and large catchment area, we see a plethora of patients with the ‘weird and wonderful’ from the world of medicine every day.

From our residents, to our staff, to our allied health team, and our admin team, the people are what make this program what it is. A program where residents are always first-in-line for learning experiences, a program that offers diverse electives at our own hospital as well as plenty of time for elective travel away from home, a program that relies on resident input in all decision-making, and a program where residents and staff can go out together on a Friday night.

We hope you enjoy learning about our program and feel free to contact us with any questions!
