Why Radiology? I love the variety of pathologies we see in radiology, things that we only read about in medical school. All the interesting cases in the hospital go through radiology. What we do day to day is like being detectives - putting together pieces of the puzzle to come up with a diagnosis. It’s fast-paced and engaging!
Why Western? Western program is small and close-knit. When I did my elective here, the residents took the time to get to know me and made me feel welcome. As a resident I feel like the staff really cared about my learning, and there are plenty of hand-on experiences because there aren’t a lot of fellows around. We get great training that prepares us well to handle the volume and pace of practice.

Most interesting job before residency: User Interface Developer at RIM (now Blackberry)
Favourite Book: Interpreter of Maladies
Favourite Movie: Catch Me If You Can
Favourite Musician/Band/Composer: P!nk
