Short Bio
Dr. Simone Holligan is an interdisciplinary scholar whose work centers on understanding the complex interplay between individual decision-making, the social determinants of health, and the technological systems that impact health. She is currently exploring the implications of artificial intelligence in healthcare systems. Her research investigates how decision-making by machines interacts with human decision-making to influence access to care, personalization of care, and health outcomes. Through this work, she aims to inform the development of ethical, equitable, and human-centered digital interventions for improving patient care.
