A Message from our Chair
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your great work and contributions to the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics over the last year.
This has been an extremely challenging period for all of us as we deal with an unprecedented public health crisis. The current pandemic has further emphasized the central role of our discipline within the research landscape and health care systems. Once again, I am extremely proud to lead a department with outstanding and dedicated scholars, students and staff.
I sincerely hope you will have a healthy and productive year as we have several exciting opportunities to embrace in the new year starting from our upcoming relocation to the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine. Hopefully, we will have the possibility to gather again in the near future to greet each other…
