Short Bio:

Dr. Vingilis is Director of the Population and Community Health Unit and Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and Epidemiology and Biostatistics at The University of Western Ontario.  A psychologist by profession, she has clinical, management and research experience with a particular focus on program evaluation and knowledge transfer. She was previously senior scientist and head of the Drinking Driving Research Unit and the Risk Factors Research Unit at the former Addiction Research Foundation, now the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, Canada. Her research interests are at-risk youth, mental health and road safety.
