Bio Sketch
An MD graduate of Western University, Dr. Cooper continued his education at the same institution and completed his residency in neurology. Following his residency training, Dr. Cooper undertook a research fellowship from Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He returned to Western University, joining the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences, in 1981 and was the former director of the neurology residency-training program.
He is currently Professor, Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Chief of Clinical Neurological Sciences and Senior Medical Director - Medicine at London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care.
Research
Dr. Cooper's research includes trials of new medication and treatment in the area of Neuroendocrinology and Headache.
