Faculty Development

With almost half of the CBD programs officially launched, the faculty development resources for official implementation are robust. The RCPSC has plenty of materials and has also ensured updated resources for a virtual environment.

Visit the 'Pre-Launch' tab to see the materials and core topics for any program who is preparing to launch.

Just because your program has already launched, does not mean that faculty development is over. It is continuous and needs to adapt to the changing landscape. Also visit the 'Program Evaluation' section of our website to see how this continuous quality improvement framework is needed.

Elentra Training Sessions

PGME is always available to provide training sessions in Elentra from the basics for any faculty, in London and outside of London, who will be supervising a resident to your Competence Committee members and residents. Please email elentra.support@schulich.uwo.ca to schedule a session!

Microsoft Team for Shared Resources

A full complement of various faculty development materials are found in the Western CBME Programs Microsoft Team using your LHSC or SJHC account. If you are a PD, CBME Lead, CC member, or PA, email Dr. Vergel de Dios for access to the Team. See the PDF for instructions on how to join once you receive the invitation.

Video Clips for Practicing EPAs Assessments

The various institutional or national CBME Leads across Canada have pooled video clips created to help with training faculty to complete EPA assessments and use an entrustment score. Videos can be found here.
