Western Gazette is hiring!

Are you passionate about student-relevant issues? Do you see yourself working for the Globe and Mail? The Toronto Star? CBC? Or maybe even the Wall Street Journal? Why not apply for an editorial position with the Western Gazette next year?

The Gazette is Western’s 110-year old student news outlet and we’re hiring students for the 2016-17 school year.  Working at the Gazette is a rewarding extracurricular and a great way to get involved on campus. Many of our alumni have gone on to successful careers in writing, journalism, law and political science. Student editors are compensated by a weekly honorarium.

Positions currently open include columnists, editors, writers and designers.

A list of all available positions and job applications are available here: http://goo.gl/MLT57A.

Applications close at 5 p.m. on March 16.

Additionally, the Gazette is always open to student volunteers for all its sections so if you would like to come check out any of the writing or creative sections, come visit us in Room 263, UCC.

If you have any questions about the job descriptions, the application process or volunteering at the Gazette, please email hamza@westerngazette.ca.
