We strive to conduct research that directly translates from the bench to improving the care of our patients. Over the past few months, we have developed novel Intravital imaging techniques in the Drosophila model for Calcium Oxalate stone disease for use in large drug screens. We are excited about the future of this unique insect model and are currently developing new models for other stone types such as Cystine. We are confident that further research in this area will impact patient care in a very dramatic way.
