Surgical Simulation Training in Western University’s Urology Program

Achieving technical skills during surgical training involves direct observation and hands-on experience. Western’s Urology Program recently acquired the URO/PERC Mentor high-fidelity simulator to allow residents to gain technical prowess with endoscopic surgical procedures. With the system, residents are able to hone their skills at cystoscopy, ureteroscopy and percutaneous renal surgery.

The Urology Program of Western University acquired this simulator with the assistance of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Care Foundation, through the philanthropy of many grateful donors. We are incredibly thankful for the support!
