Welcome to the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. As we begin the academic year, there are many exciting developments that will help to keep our Department at the forefront of our disciplines. Please browse through our website for further information.
We are a research-intensive department, focusing on many aspects of Physiology and Pharmacology from the molecular to the whole organism level. The website outlines the research programs of our faculty members and trainees, and the laboratory facilities available. If you are a prospective graduate student or postdoctoral fellow, please visit web pages of individual faculty members for an overview of their current research and publications.
The department has a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The website also contains extensive information about our undergraduate teaching programs with a wide array of course, laboratory and program offerings, taught by faculty members and teaching assistants who are committed to excellence in education. We are currently revamping our program, so stay tuned for updates for the upcoming year.
