Justin Kim to attend Oxford University: MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology

"My thesis project, supervised by Dr. Stephanie Frisbee, identified and compared cardiac rehabilitation quality indicators and how they were being implemented and publicly reported globally. In the broad discipline of public health, a One Health perspective offers numerous benefits as health challenges require input and action across disciplines and stakeholders."

Navia Novosel to attend Indiana University: Doctor of Dental Surgery & Master of Public Health

"Graduating from the One Health module was definitely a highlight of my undergraduate career. Looking at what defines ‘health’ from a big picture perspective is so relevant in today’s healthcare systems, and for this reason, I am passionate about increasing awareness around One Health. Given the opportunity to complete a thesis, I was able to explore the importance of dental providers on interprofessional healthcare teams treating patients with chronic diseases like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)."

Joel Zhang continues on at Western University: MSc in One Health at PaLM

"As part of my research with Dr. Francisco Olea-Popelka, we have been looking at the impacts of Zoonotic tuberculosis in Uganda. Our research has been implemented in National Strategic Plans in Uganda as countries globally are trying to better understand the true health impacts of the disease. One Health may have very well changed the trajectory of my life and career, and nothing excites me more than this ongoing opportunity."
