As well, Dr. Michael Knauer's and Dr. Tianqing Peng's projects were among 14 funded through Lawson’s Internal Research Fund (IRF) COVID-19 Pandemic Response Competition.

Dr. Knauer's project is entitled "Improving diagnostic and epidemiologic detection of SARS-CoV-2" and Dr. Peng's project aims at "Developing new ssDNA aptamers targeting S protein receptor binding domain of SARS-CoV-2 to disrupt virus infection cycle as a potential therapy."

Your research achievements during these unprecedented times are applauded.
