EpLINK Grant
Congratulations to Dr. Qi Zhang who recently received a research grant from The Epilepsy Research Program of the Ontario Brain Institute (EpLINK). EpLINK focuses on finding new ways to diagnose, treat and improve the lives of people with drug-resistant epilepsy. Dr. Zhang’s research project is titled “Discovering Predictive Biomarkers of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy".
Two people from the organization came to Dr. Zhang’s lab: Katie (an epilepsy patient) and Geri (Katie’s mother). They organize an annual event called Katie’s Run.
