Welcome Dr. Ana Cabrera
We would like to welcome Dr. Ana Cabrera to Microbiology, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine who joined us Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
Dr. Cabrera was most recently a Clinical Microbiology Fellow at the University of Toronto. She completed her Doctor in Natural Sciences (PhD) at Hamburg University and Bernhard-Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg, Germany in 2010. Dr. Cabrera is a member of the Planning Committee for National Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Fellows’ Retreat, and a member of the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Canada, Canadian Association for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and the American Society for Microbiology. She has presented over a dozen posters internationally and has published several peer reviewed articles.
