Kara Ruicci receives PhD-level Scholarship for CaRTT Program

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory of Medicine would like to offer congratulations to Kara Ruicci on receiving a one-year, PhD-level scholarship for the ‘Cancer Research & Technology Transfer (CaRTT) Strategic Training Program' starting in September 2017.

The London Regional Cancer Program, Western’s Department of Oncology, Lawson Health Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry joined forces to create the London Strategic Training Initiative in Cancer Research and Technology Transfer (CaRTT).  The initiative’s objective is to train basic and clinical researchers to interact with each other, the private sector and the public to translate discoveries into action to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.  For full program details, please click here.
