Dr. Justin Garabon joined the Department of Paediatrics in the Division of Paediatric Emergency Medicine in July 2025. He completed his Bachelor of Forensic Science and Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor.
Following this, Dr. Garabon completed medical school, Paediatrics residency, and Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship at Western University. He is currently completing a PEM point of care ultrasound (POCUS) clinical fellowship at Western University. Dr. Garabon’s research interests include POCUS, quality improvement, and resuscitation. Future plans include additional training in healthcare integration of artificial intelligence, with a focus on applications for POCUS.
