The CanMEDS Framework
Our program is committed to maintaining the highest standards of postgraduate medical education by aligning closely with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada requirements. Our curriculum, learning objectives, and assessment methods are structured around the CanMEDS Framework, which outlines the essential competencies physicians require to effectively meet the health care needs of their patients and communities.
Through ongoing review and continuous improvement, we strive to ensure that all educational experiences within our program reflect the Royal College standards and support the development of each learner across all CanMEDS roles: Medical Expert, Communicator, Collaborator, Leader, Health Advocate, Scholar, and Professional.
