Start your application

Applications to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program must be submitted through OMSAS. Be sure to submit your application, transcripts, supporting documents and fees by the stated deadline.

Documents and fees

It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure all documents are submitted through OMSAS by the application deadline. Application documents are not retained year-to-year. If you’ve applied in the past, you must resubmit all supporting documents.

Transcripts and academic records


  • Request transcripts from every post-secondary institution you’ve attended

  • Upload through the OMSAS portal by the deadline

Supporting documents


Fees and test scores


  • OMSAS application fee + university application fee + transcript fees,
submitted through OMSAS
  • MCAT scores, released through AAMC

Referees

You’ll need references from three people who know you professionally or personally, but who are not family members, friends, peers or neighbours.

Important to note

Falsification or misrepresentation of information during any portion of the application process, including interviews, will result in removal of the application from consideration, and may be considered in any future applications to Western University.
