White coat ceremony
The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University welcomes students being admitted into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) programs with a traditional White Coat Ceremony.
This milestone celebrates the transition to academic and clinical training, and serves as a symbolic welcome into the medical and dental professions.
Due to limited seating capacity for the White Coat Ceremony, attendance will require an official event ticket. Each incoming student will be invited to register a limited number of guests in advance.
Each guest must present an official ticket containing a unique QR code for entry to the ceremony. Tickets will be scanned at the door upon arrival.
Because seating is extremely limited, exceptions for additional guests unfortunately cannot be made. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Complimentary Parking and Shuttle
Complimentary parking will be available in the Medway Lot, and shuttle service will be available before and after the ceremony for transfers between Medway Lot and North Campus Building.

The White Coat Ceremony will be planned and presented with adherence to Western health and safety guidelines that are in place at the time of the event, to ensure the health and safety of the campus community and campus visitors.
