Medicine application and admission cycle

Early July	Application opens Visit the OMSAS website to access the application.
Early October	Application closes Visit the OMSAS website for the application close date and time, and for documents and fees that are due by the application deadline.
Late January/early February	Academic thresholds GPA and MCAT thresholds are posted, and interview decisions are sent by email from the Admissions Office.
Late February/early March	Interviews Visit the admission requirements webpage for information about admission interviews.
Early April	Schulich Scholarships Deadline to submit an application for a Schulich Scholarship.
Early May	Offers of admission and waitlist offers First round offers of admission and waitlist offers are sent by email from the Admissions Office. Upon acceptance of an offer of admission, additional Post Admission requirements will be listed on the Medicine Post Admission webpage.
June 1, 4:30 p.m. ET	Tuition deposit Deadline to submit $1,000 tuition deposit to confirm acceptance of an offer of admission.
June 30, 4:30 p.m. ET	Post admission requirements Deadline to complete post admission requirements. Failure to complete a post admission requirement by the stated deadline may result in an offer of admission being withdrawn.
Late August/early September	Orientation Week Attendance is mandatory upon acceptance of an offer of admission. Absence from any live or virtual O-Week event, including White Coat Ceremony, requires extenuating personal circumstances. Avoid planning vacations, trips or other activities during this time.
