Cascade Access and Training

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently working on an eLearning Cascade CMS module that will be replacing the traditional in-person training.

This training is for members of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry only.

For who those have already completed Schulich Cascade training and/or have worked in Cascade in the last year but need further access, please create a JIRA ticket.

You must have an active Western user ID to be granted access to Cascade, Western's Content Management System, and the online training module.

If you do not currently have an active user ID at Western, the Manager for your department will need to log in and request one for you using the Western HR Associated Person Request Form

You cannot proceed with your request for access and training without a Western user ID.

Cascade Training

The module is designed for Schulich faculty, staff, and students who are responsible for creating content and updating the Schulich website using Cascade. Throughout the module, you will be asked to work through various exercises within Cascade. In order to complete each exercise, you will first need to log in to Cascade.

The purpose of the module is to instruct you on how to use Cascade and to provide basic web editing instructions.

In the meantime, if you require assistance with website content changes, please fill out the Website Content Update Request Form. For instructions on how to request a new website, visit our New Website Request page.
