Our location

The Emergency / Urgent Care Dental Clinic is located on the ground floor of the Dental Sciences Building.

Hours of operation

Appointments are offered:
Monday to Friday
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

* If you are experiencing an emergency outside of clinic hours, please follow the instructions on our voice message.

The clinic is CLOSED during:

  • Wednesday afternoons from September to April;
  • Fridays from May to August;
  • Weekends and federal/provincial holidays
SUMMER EMERGENCY / URGENT CARE CLINICS: Our regular student clinics are closed and re-open in Sept. Our summer Emergency / Urgent Care clinic runs from July 6 until Aug 14, 2026. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please call 519-661-3331 to schedule an appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, treatment is by appointment only. Patients are treated by dental students under the supervision of licensed dentists.
There is a $20 fee for an Emergency visit (this does not include potential x-rays or any treatment that may be required).
Fees in the Emergency Clinic are approximately 60% of what a private dentist would charge.
We accept all forms of dental insurance, including Ontario Works and other government assistance programs.
No, treatment provided in the Emergency Clinic is temporary. It is meant to manage the issue until you can see a private dentist or become a permanent patient of our Main Clinic.
