Frequently asked questions

We offer full-service dentistry for adults and children — everything from routine check-ups and cleanings, to fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, gum-disease treatment, root canals, extractions, and emergency dental care. Note: we’re a teaching clinic, so you’ll be treated by dental students under faculty supervision.

You’ll need to plan for up to 3 hours per appointment in most cases. Treatment is scheduled in blocks during the academic year (9 a.m.–12 p.m. / 2 p.m.–5 p.m.). Because we’re a teaching-clinic, it may take some time (weeks or months) before your full treatment begins.

Details on appointment times & process

Yes. Because this is a teaching environment, we reserve the right to limit, refuse or discontinue treatment if you’re uncooperative, don’t comply with treatment plans, or if your case is too complex for the clinic’s teaching model.

Clinic expectations of patients

Start by completing the “Screening Registration fom” online to express your interest. If you qualify, we’ll contact you to schedule a screening appointment. Because of teaching-clinic constraints, not all applicants are accepted and wait times can be long.
