Welcome to a new academic year
New Medicine and Dentistry students began their professional journey with the traditional White Coat Ceremony and enjoyed a week of firsts and celebration as they became acquainted with their peers and faculty.
The White Coat Ceremony is a symbolic milestone, representing the start of a new professional identity. “The white coat symbolizes the caring and trust expected by your patients, peers, mentors and communities that you serve,” said Acting Dean Dr. Davy Cheng.
Other events included the Meet and Greet at the School’s Windsor Campus and orientation activities at Western’s Great Hall.
