Students at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry

The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University has a bold and exciting vision to become a global leader in optimizing life-long health through innovations in research, education and active engagement with our communities. We offer an educational experience second to none. Our long tradition of excellence began with the founding of the medical school in 1881 and continued with the formation of the dental school in 1964. In 1997, the two schools merged, and in 2005 became the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in recognition of a $26-million donation from Seymour Schulich. In 2008, the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry - Windsor Program opened, in partnership with the University of Windsor and Windsor-area hospitals.

We are firmly focused on our future, working to enrich our educational programs, enhance our facilities and provide increased support for our students by adapting our teaching methods to utilize the latest teaching technology.
