London Health Research Day 2013 - Driving Innovation Through Collaboration

With more than 700 people expected to attend, London Health Research Day 2013 is sure to turn more than a few heads across the region. In its second year, the Day is presented in partnership by the Lawson Health Research Institute and Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. A truly unique research event, it showcases the outstanding research from students, trainees and postdoctoral scholars from across the city of London.

This year's event will build on the success established with the inaugural Research Day in 2012. In addition to the platform and poster competitions, the event features several special networking and learning opportunities for students and faculty. The plenary lunch session will be presented by international expert in pharmacology, Dr. Terry Kenakin, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, University of North Carolina School of Medicine. And later in the day, a special Wine and Cheese will take place. The dinner and awards presentation gets underway at 5:30 p.m, and will feature Avis Favaro, Medical Correspondent, CTV National News as master of ceremonies.
