Celebrating the life of Dr. Francis Chan - share your stories

Dr. Francis Chan was a much loved and highly regarded professor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Sadly, he passed away in June 2013. Many of us will remember him for his tremendous gifts as a teacher, his genuine concern for the well-being of his students and colleagues, and his compassionate and nurturing nature.

In celebration of Dr. Chan's life and commitment, we are creating a book of memories which will be presented to the Chan family and the recipient of The Francis Chan Distinction Award. The Award was established by the 2012 graduating class to honour Dr. Chan and recognized members of the graduating class who demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication to advocating for the rights of others within the school and/or external community; a balance in life with a passion for extracurricular activities, and involvement in the school and/or external community.
